S.O.T. Field - Christ the Rock

Christ the Rock is The Sons of Thunder's Alternate Field. It is the field that we play at periodically throughout the year, and it is also the field where we hold our practices, which are open to everyone. It is also a substantially smaller field than Shiocton, the CTR Field is less than 3 acres. The field itself is still very good for woodsball, as there are dense trees and tall grass, as well as bushes and bunkers. The CTR Field also changes throughout the year, based on the foliage that is present, and the amount of water in the stream that runs through the field.

The Play and Safe Areas at the CTR field are seperated by a large grassy area. The Safe area includes staging space, chronograph area, and the sale tables; and is set near the fire access road behind Christ the Rock. The parking area at the CTR Field is the church parking lot, as it makes a great spot for parking, and the fire access road needs to remain clear in case of emergency. We pride ourselves on safety and the fact that no one has ever had a serious injury or accident. We expect this trend of safety to continue for years to come. We welcome you to join us on the field during one of our games or practices. We ask that you not go onto the Field and play outside of our games and practices, as the Church may not appreciate it.
